Hisumi is one of the Toy Soldiers that is Malice bearers who have eventually become a single whole with it. The ability of his Malice is to grant other people the power to control puppets but in fact he controls people having been granted. He has slender physique and bears strong resemblance to a doll. Nevertheless, he is very inelligent, insidious and crafty when trying to achieve his goals. For instance he admits to having used Sonomachi Maya's feelings towards him in attempt to kill Ririko (whom he prefers to call Lily for unknown reasons). Hisumi is an Akemikado Academy student. He was raised in an orphanage along with Kurokichi Kagenu and Momooka Hachizou who is now the right-hand man of him. Hisumi and Momooka often spend time playing chess. Character 儡 in his name means "puppet, dummy"
