Appears in Sen no Yoru. Akira grew up near Kouichi and got along well with his family. The two were best friends, until Kouichi confessed his feelings and Akira, caught by surprise, pretended to misunderstand him. He ends up working at the same company as Kouichi, and always responds with a sad smile whenever Kouichi mocks him.
