She, and her elder brother and sister, Reed and Mana, were under attach by a group of monsters and later on were saved by Asley and Pochi. The former soon became attached to the latter two and also became a student of Asley along with Tifa, another child in her hometown, Faltown. She sets forth to enrol in the Magic University in Beilannea with Asley after two years learning under him.
