Hinata is an ogre. Due to a curse placed on her ancestor, Shuten-doji, she has to consume alcohol offered by humans to survive. Whenever she drinks alcohol, her ogre horns appear. This makes blending in with other college students hard for her. She strikes up a deal with Naori and moves in with her.
