Appears in Nagai Yume (The Long Dream). Kuroda is the doctor assigned to Tetsuro. Although initially skeptical of Tetsuro's claims, Kuroda quickly realizes how serious it actually is and begins working intensely to find a cure.
After Tetsuro dies, Kuroda feeds the crystals from his brain to another patient, Mami, who soon begins exhibiting the same symptoms.
